✨ Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BIS) Supervisor ✨

Fishkill, NY | Hudson Valley

$100,000–$110,000 + Benefits

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 11 AM–7 PM

Residential & Community-Based Services

We're seeking a BCBA or LCSW with developmental disabilities experience to lead and supervise Behavioral Intervention Specialists, oversee behavioral support services, and promote person-centered care across residential programs.

What You'll Do:

Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Behavioral Intervention Specialists (BIS I & II)
Oversee Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), and positive behavioral interventions
Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations, documentation standards, and quality assurance requirements
Develop and deliver staff training, including SCIP-R certification compliance
Collaborate with clinical teams, residential staff, and Human Rights Committees
Conduct residential site visits to monitor service delivery and support staff
Support hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of BIS staff

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Psychology or related field
BCBA or LCSW required
3+ years of post-master's experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
1+ year of leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience
Strong knowledge of ABA, Positive Behavioral Supports (PBS), FBAs, and BSPs
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overnights as needed
Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required for travel between program locations
Mileage reimbursement: $0.76/mile for eligible travel
