About the Position

Job Title

Travel Speech Language Pathologist – 8hr Days

Location

Wilkes-Barre, PA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess speech, language, and swallowing function
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings
Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) independently
Document patient progress and clinical findings using Cerner EMR
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Pennsylvania
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
Independent proficiency with Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner EMR
Background in acute care or hospital-based speech therapy settings
Strong skills in dysphagia management and swallowing disorders
