Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Technician – Retail Pharmacy to support our client's healthcare facility in Fort Worth, TX . 

Job Details: 
Schedule: Evenings 3:30 pm - midnight (weekdays and weekends).
Location: Fort Worth, TX 76104 (Onsite)
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks of Contract with possible extension.
Pay Range: $24- $26 per Hour on W2
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. 

Duties: 

• Process prescription drop-offs, pick-ups, refills, and patient inquiries.
• Answer pharmacy calls and coordinate prescription requests with providers.
• Fill prescriptions by selecting, counting, prepackaging, reconstituting, and labeling medications.
• Handle controlled substances, including inventory counts and required documentation.
• Maintain counting cells, pharmacy records, and inventory.
• Participate in quality-control audits, medication checks, and performance-improvement activities.
• Follow pharmacy, hospital, and regulatory policies and safety standards.

Requirements: 

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• License(s): NA
• Certification(s): PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and Texas State Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration, OR valid Texas Pharmacy Intern License/Registration.
• Years of experience:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant pharmacy technician experience.

• Skills/Specialties/Technology:

• Strong communication, telephone, math, metric-system, medical terminology, and record-keeping skills.
• Must be comfortable working evening shifts and weekends.
• Retail Pharmacy operates 7 days/week, 8 AM–12 midnight.
• Dress Code: Kid-friendly scrubs; jeans are not permitted.
