Job Description
You will provide expert coordination in natural resources management support, product and service delivery of diverse datasets, technical reports, and critical environmental studies requiring collaboration between diverse organizations within the AOR.
You will provide project management, guidance and assistance on difficult and complex problems. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams within and external to NAVFAC to achieve high-level Navy natural resources management objectives.
You will provide technical subject matter expertise in principle environmental legislation and DoD policy including the Sikes Act, Endangered Species Act (ESA), Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), Essential Fish Habitat, and other environmental laws
You will manage processes, investigate potential problems, and provide guidance regarding natural resources products and services in support of the mission.
You will provide expert knowledge of budgeting and contracting tools, scopes of work, government estimate development, and project management techniques to ensure high level work product deliverables and contract execution.
